Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Orbo works fully without one, permanently. An account exists only so your

history survives a lost or replaced phone.

I forgot to start my fast. Can I fix it?

Yes, and it takes one tap. On the timer screen, Edit start time sits

directly under the ring. You can also add a fast you never logged at all, from

the same place — and your streak repairs itself when you do.

I missed a day. Is my streak gone?

Not necessarily. Every week you get a rest day. Spending it extends your

plan instead of breaking your streak. It is free and always will be.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Orbo → Cancel Subscription.

There is also a How to cancel link inside Orbo's paywall and Settings that

takes you straight there.

Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Cancelling stops future

charges; it does not refund the current period.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple, not by us:

https://support.apple.com/billing. We genuinely cannot issue them.

How do I get my data out?

Settings → Export. CSV or JSON, everything, on the free plan. Your fasting

history is yours.

Does Orbo work offline?

Completely. The timer, your history and your streak never need a network.

Why doesn't Orbo write my fasts to Apple Health?

Apple Health has no fasting type. The alternatives are to misfile a fast as a

workout — which would pollute your activity rings with something that is not

exercise — or to leave it out. We left it out.

Orbo does write water, weight and body fat to Health if you enable it.

I changed timezone and my history looks wrong.

It shouldn't. Orbo stores every fast in UTC and derives your local day from

your home timezone, so flying does not rewrite history. If something still

looks off, email us with the dates and we will look.

Is fasting safe for me?

We cannot answer that, and any app that claims to is one you should delete.

Talk to a doctor — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding,

diabetic, taking medication, under 18, or have any history of disordered

eating. Stop and seek help if you feel faint, confused or unwell.

How do I delete my account and everything in it?

Settings → Account → Delete Account. It removes all server-side data

permanently and revokes Sign in with Apple. We offer you an export first.

If you never made an account, deleting the app is enough — nothing of yours

exists anywhere else.
